Invitation for Local Cross-Border Journalism grant info webinar.

Are you a journalist interested in a story that stretches across European borders? Do you have a hard time reporting these cross-border stories because of a lack of resources? The European Local Cross-Border grant programme supports local investigative journalists in Europe working on stories with cross-border dimensions.

The European Federation of Journalists (EFJ) is hosting an online webinar to help you apply for this grant.

This project targets journalists, both freelance and employed, and news outlets developing stories in all Creative Europe participating countries (EU and non-EU). It covers your working time and expenses such as travel, logistics, insurance, legal support, and advice on risk management and security issues. You can also apply for mentoring from an experienced professional journalist.

  • 3rd call: 10 November 2022
  • 4th call: 12 January 2023
  • 5th call: 16 March 2023
